Marathon Man James

26th April 25

We are incredibly proud to share that former pupil James Hall successfully completed the 2025 London Marathon, running in support of Sense, a charity dedicated to supporting people living with complex disabilities.

Despite facing injury challenges during the race — including issues with his right IT band and knee — James showed remarkable determination and finished with an impressive time of 4 hours.

Not only did he cross the finish line with resilience and pride, but he also surpassed his £2,000 fundraising target. All proceeds will go to the local Sense charity shop in Wisbech, a cause especially meaningful to James.

Reflecting on the experience, James said: “What an incredible experience. Despite countless injury problems mid race, I finished and I’m very proud of that.”

Congratulations, James — your courage and commitment are truly inspiring!
