Early Years Curriculum

As your child enters the doors to their classroom they are met by a world of exploration and the learning unfolds as our team guide them towards their next adventure along the journey to inspiring their imaginations.

This is where foundations are laid to pave the way through their educational journey of becoming lifelong learners and discovering who they are. Friendships are created in an environment that promotes kindness and caring for one another. Each child’s individual needs are embraced and personal goals are set, encouraging their thirst for knowledge and understanding of the world around them.

Our Learning Environment encompasses three different aspects: The Indoor, The Outdoor and The Emotional. We consider all these aspects to be equally important and have developed our learning spaces to encourage independent learning in all areas of the EYFS curriculum.

Opportunities to enhance children’s learning through play and independent choices is provided through a balanced and broad Foundation Stage curriculum based on the following:

Prime Areas:

  • Personal, Social and Emotional Development
  • Communication and Language
  • Physical Development

Specific Areas:

  • Literacy
  • Mathematics
  • Understanding of the World
  • Expressive Arts and Design
