WGS 6th Form pupils receive top Offers from Cambridge and Oxford

We are delighted with the University offers that our pupils are receiving so far, with an obvious highlight of the offers made to Demelza Mason (Wisbech) and Charlotte Brett (March) by Oxford and Cambridge respectively.

Charlotte said, “I am delighted to have received an Offer from Fitzwilliam College (Cambridge) to read Geography. In particular, I am looking forward to pursuing my interest in environmental issues at degree level.”

Demelza agreed, and added, “I am very pleased to have been offered a place to read Archaeology and Anthropology at St Hugh’s College [Oxford] as it will fulfil a lifetime interest in the past and help with my work with the National Trust.”

Once again an emphasis on early but well thought out applications has rewarded pupils with Offers’. The majority of our 6th Form pupils will receive all 5 offers from which to choose their first and second choices.

This follows on from a very successful UCAS cycle last year which saw Tarn Chamberlain James take up a place at Cambridge to read Veterinary Medicine.

For children in Year 3 to Year 11. 0830 – 1530. £70 for two days including breakfast.

Multi-Activity Day– Wednesday 14 August (Kindergarten to Year 8) 0830 – 1530 £37 includes breakfast. Includes Multi-sports, gymnastics and art and crafts.

Summer Camp Monday 12 to Friday 16 August (Kindergarten to Year 3) 0830 – 1530 includes breakfast.  A week of fun with expert staff in messy play, construction, art and craft, water play and sports.
