Mr Paul Logan, Deputy Head Academic looks forward to new role as Headmaster at Derby Grammar School

17th December 20

We are very pleased to announce that Mr Paul Logan, Deputy Head Academic has been appointed Headmaster at Derby Grammar School from September 2021.  Having arrived from Uppingham School, Paul initially took on the role of Deputy Head Operations for two years and more latterly as Deputy Head Academic. This alongside his considerable state school teaching experience and his role as Co-Chair of Governors at a local Wisbech primary school has provided him with all the necessary experience required to take on his first headship. We will be very sorry to see Paul leave in the summer but our loss is very much Derby’s gain and we wish him, Lis and Ruth every success for the future.

Paul said, “I feel privileged to be taking on this role at Derby Grammar School. I am committed to building on the great developments led by Dr Norris, and the strong academic achievement the School stands for. Piloting the School through  the exciting times ahead is an exciting prospect, and I cannot wait to become part of the community.”

We will be looking to appoint Paul’s successor during the Lent term 2020.
