Arcadia Ensemble gave a performance in the beautiful surroundings of the Library as part of the annual ‘Christmas at Peckover House’ event on Saturday 7 December. The whole of Peckover House is draped in festive decorations sponsored by local companies and organisations – a perfect backdrop for a concert.
A good audience gathered to hear the group perform pieces by Gaby Ayling, Bach and Handel, which were interspersed by excellent solos from Ursula France, Gaby Ayling and George Ayling. The concert closed with some audience participation and everyone singing ‘We wish you a merry Christmas’.
