Marvellous Maths
Making Maths magical, one theme at a time!
Marvellous Maths is one of Wisbech Grammar School’s popular curriculum extension events, designed especially for Year 5 pupils from local primary schools. It offers children the opportunity to discover that Maths can be much more than numbers and calculations, through a morning of exciting challenges, creative problem-solving and hands-on activities.
Each event brings Maths to life through a different imaginative theme. In previous years, pupils have stepped into worlds inspired by wizards, pirates, Scooby-Doo and Marvel, exploring mathematical ideas along the way. Every theme brings something new, encouraging pupils to think creatively, work together and discover the fun of tackling a challenge.
Whether your child loves solving puzzles, enjoys a challenge or simply likes discovering something new, Marvellous Maths is a wonderful opportunity to learn, explore and have fun in a welcoming Senior School environment.
