We understand that choosing the right school and getting the right support for your child is a big decision and we aim to make the admissions process as simple and smooth as possible for our prospective families. Our dedicated Admissions Team is here to ensure you have a seamless journey at the different entry points and are on hand to explain our entrance procedures, scholarships, bursaries and to organise a visit. There is the opportunity to arrange a virtual meeting or book a personalised visit to our School.  Please explore our Admissions pages and discover more about our different entry points into Wisbech Grammar School.

The main entry points are at ages 3 (Kindergarten), ages 4 (Reception) age 9 (Prep 5), age 11 (1st Form) age 13 (3rd Form), and aged 16 (6th Form). However, children often join in other year groups’ throughout the academic year.

Children from Prep 3 to 5th Form sit an online assessment that measures their potential and learning styles. You will need to register your child first before you can apply to sit the assessment.

If you would like to discuss entry for your child, please do not hesitate to contact the Admissions Team by, email or telephone on 01945 586750.

“So firstly I wanted to say how outstanding the admissions care and support has been from the very start. It was, without doubt, fundamental to our decision to bring Ana over to WGS and commit to the fees. We are very excited to watch Ana grow with you”.
